Zonky

£4.00

This board replicates the much sought after John Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine MKI pedal produced in Leeds England in 1965 – 1966.

NEW – Interactive B.O.M Helper

We include a standalone HTML file with each of our boards that helps show you what parts go where (find it in the “Build Docs & Extra Info” Tab)- just extract the zip file to a folder and open the .html file in your internet browser. You can use the table on the left to tick off the parts as you source them / add them to the board – we found its a very handy and a big shout out to Interactive HTML BOM Plugin which is a free plugin on GitHub used to generate these.

This board replicates the much sought after John Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine MKI pedal produced in Leeds England in 1965 – 1966.  A three transistor circuit that needs careful biasing - socket your resistors on this one!  It has 2 knobs, Fuzz and Swell - it’s a classic fuzz for a fraction of the price of hunting down and finding an original.  Whilst you can put it in any box from a 1590B upwards, we suggest a big enclosure like the original’s came it - it will add more mojo fuzz or something 🙂
